Somebody might have opened the Pandora’s box as the release date of London Dreams drew near. All sorts of gossips varying from Salman Khan’s close relationship with his co-star Asin Thottumkal to their big fight filled the newspaper entertainment columns and websites.

Do you think the lead pair is resorting to cheap publicity? Who knows, because they neither complained nor cared to clarify the gossips.

While shooting for London Dreams in Paris, everyone except Asin had problems in conversing with the locals in French. The young actress was a top scorer of French in school and college. A source close to Asin reveals, “When Asin was shooting for London Dreams, she very easily made conversations with the natives. The cast and crew often took her help in talking French to the people out there. She went sightseeing in Paris. Asin loved the churches in Paris and even attended the mass in the local language. Asin even tried the street food available there.”

The industry is abuzz with the news that Ashutosh Gowariker has zeroed in on Asin to play the lead leading in Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan.

Our source says, “Asin met Ashutosh at his Khar office four days ago. He told her that he was keen to have her on board for his period drama.”

Apparently, Asin refused to even listen to the narration saying that she had full faith in the director. The actress told him that she has seen his previous films and was looking forward to working with him.”
Interestingly, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was to do the film earlier.

The Kollywood star is now all ready to to rock in Vipul Shah’s London Dreams and her tale, reads closer to home.

Priya (Asin) is a girl from the South of India, but born in London. Her love for music (or leather) takes her to London Dreams, a rock band.

Pretty Asin is going in for an Endoscopic sinus surgery also called endoscopy or sinoscopy at the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai today (Sep 21) morning.

A day before she was admitted to the hospital Asin told Sify.com: “ I had this irritating allergic cold with acute sinus infection and blocked nostrils. My doctor advised me to do this minor surgery to drain my infection and clear the sinus. Within two or three days, I will be back to normal, jumping around as usual”.

As we fall into Fall this Sunday, Farah Khan talks to South beauties Deepika Padukone and Asin about stardom and being independent in Mumbai. The girls both spoke about beginning their careers early in life; Deepika began at 15 as did Asin. While Deepika began her career with modeling, Asin dove straight into acting in her 9th standard. Interestingly the girls both claimed that even though they are independent, they still owe explanations about any decisions they make individually. The best friends also spoke about working in Bollywood and their South connection which ultimately became the reason they become close buds.

Director Vipul Shah is very proud of Asin’s new look in his movie London Dreams. “In Ghajini, everyone saw Asin’s acting capabilities,” he says, “In my film everyone will see her dancing skills, not only classical but also western. Madhuri had the ‘girl next door’ quality, so do Rani and Priyanka, but they all are capable of looking sensuous and sexy. Asin also has an added advantage of her freshness.”

This is a musical from one of the acclaimed directors of Bollywood industry, Vipul Shah. Even though the movie carries a plot, which has been something adapted by most of the directors earlier also, Shah seems to have added a ‘magical’ touch to the plots by flaunting this movie as a musical.

People will also get to see Ajay Devgan in a role which he has never been seen before. We have seen Ajay doing comedies, action and romance. In London Dreams, Ajay will be seen essaying a rock singer with negative shades. This movie also starts Salman Khan in the lead role with Asin essaying the role of the female lead.

Ardent Bollywood buffs who’ve seen the promos of the ‘Man Ko Ati Bhave’ number from the upcoming film LONDON DREAMS are delighted at Salman Khan’s tribute to Dharmendra. Khan, in his adorably mad style, does the age-old veteran’s dance moves whilst wooing Asin. The track was shot in cold Paris against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower.

Confirming that Salman’s moves were consciously modelled on the lines of Dharmendra’s, choreographer Rajeev Surti said, ‘When we were discussing the choreography, Salman Bhai suggested that we incorporate Dharamji’s famous moves! He is a big Dharmendra fan and felt that the steps would go really well with the fun feel of the song. He managed to ape Dharam ji’s moves perfectly and added his own unique flavour to them!“
