Because of an unusual name, Asin has people pronouncing it in all the different ways, which sometimes even amuse the actress.

People even came up to her and ask the meaning of her name.

Asin says, “Asin means without sin”.

She says that it is a mix of Sanskrit and English and that her name is real and not a screen name.

“You can give credit to my parents who came up with such an unusual name. It’s their creativity” she adds.
