“Yes, at last I’ve made close friends in Mumbai. You’ve to see how close I am to Sridevi and her daughters. I spend almost all my nonworking hours with them,” says Asin.

OMG! Yep, that was our reaction too. Wait till you hear the whole story. A source close to the actress revealed, “Sometime ago when Asin was in Macau for an award function, she got to know a lot about bungee jumping, and she was very excited to try it for the first time. In bungee jumping, a belt is tightly tied around the foot before you leap, but unfortunately Asin had injured her foot, she had torn a ligament while learning Kalari (a martial art form) in Kerela. So she wasn’t permitted to take the leap.”

Asin may have grabbed attention as well as some plum projects after Ghajini, but the actress hadn’t done preparations for her big splash.

“I began working at a very early age. Today, newcomers come in with all sorts of training. I learnt everything on the job and that has worked for me. Even when it came to talking in Hindi, I didn’t have much trouble because I am good with languages,” she says.

According to the sources, Asin has made two good friends in the Bollywood. The name of her good friends is Janavi and Khushi; these two girls are the daughters of gorgeous actress Sridevi.

The Bollywood actress Asin made her debut from a blockbuster hit “Ghajini” under the banner of Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan.

Actually the two other actresses of Bollywood Tabu and Sridevi are living in the same building where Asin lives. Now-a-days, Asin is spending a big time with these two little angels Janavi and Khushi.

Asin, who shot to fame with Ghajini in Bollywood, has moved to Mumbai completely with her family. The actress recently moved into her own apartment in Mumbai and according to sources, she may decide to sell her existing property in Chennai’s posh Harrington Road.

Asin has been receiving several offers in Bollywood, but has been very careful in choosing her projects. It looks like there little hope for Tamil fans to see her back in a Kollywood film, as the actress has decided to relocate to Mumbai.

This means that Asin’s intensive kalaripayattu trainingand subsequent ligament tear were for nothing. I really needed the rest after the gruelling training for 19th Step. But I am most excited about having my own home, which I have wanted since I was 21,” chirps Asin. She was overwhelmed by the welcome the kids of her building gave her including gifting herheart-shaped balloons, a wind chime, lucky charms and a laughing Buddha. Asin,who loves children, is now planning a sleepover with her young neighboursbesides bonding with her starry ones, Tabu and Sridevi.
