According to the latest internet buzz, Vijay will begin work for the Siddique-directed Malayalam remake Bodyguard from first week of April. Vijay’s lucky mascot Asin will return from her Bollywood stint for Bodyguard. It is worth mentioning here that Nayanthara played the lead role in the original version. Yet another change is that Raj Kiran has bagged the role essayed by Thyagarajan.

Vadivelu and MS Bhaskar will feature in the movie’s comedy track. Vidyasagar will score music for this film. Ekambaram has been signed up to wield the camera.

After deciding to return to Kollywood, Asin wants to come back in style.

The actress is looking for a place to stay, so she does not have to trouble her producers to pay her hotel bills.

She also wants the script completed before landing in Chennai, so she can start working from day one.

But her priority is to hunt for a luxury apartment in the posh locality of RA Puram in Chennai.

She plans to return lock, stock and barrel. Kollywood seems to have rolled the red carpet for Asin’s return.
