Asin’s tailor-made role specially carved for her in Kaavalkaran is taking a toll over the actress otherwise. The pretty actress while getting ready in her van for the shoot is reported to had gone breathless when a certain gas leaked and the her vanity van became gloomy.Asin along with her make-up man and hairdresser who fainted before her were immediately hospitalized 20 km away from Karaikudi where there were shooting.

Says the spokesperson, “Yes it’s true, there was a gas leak and Asin went out of breath and hence had to be taken to the hospital. But she and the rest of the crew are absolutely fine now and have already resumed shooting.”

Asin seems to be following in the footsteps of her former co-star Salman Khan, who is known to hop into rickshaws on impulse and even engage in antics like driving one late at night. Recently, when Asin was heading to Madurai airport to catch a flight, she took up an unusual dare by her friends – to travel in a bullock cart. A source close to Asin reveals, “It is a two-hour drive to Madurai airport from Kairaikudi. Asin was to catch a flight to Mumbai and was accompanied by three friends. On the way, they spotted a bullock cart and one thing led to another. When her friends challenged Asin to ride on it, she immediately agreed.”

Asin and Vijay who had already given couple of super hit movies like Pokkiri and Sivakasi, are all set to be a part of a new Tamil project Kaavalkaran ‘ a remake of Bodyguard. Asin who has been trying hard to make her existence in Bollywood, is back to her roots. In spite of refusing many lucrative offers from south Indian filmmakers, Asin is now really looking forward to this project to rebuild her career once again. Bodyguard ‘ a super hit Malayalam movie will be remade in Tamil by director Siddique with Vijay and Asin in the leads. The shooting of this movie is going on at Karaikudi. Some of the important scenes of the couple have already been completed.

Gautham Menon’s Gharshana will be remade in Hindi by producer Vipul Shah. John Abraham will play the lead role in this Venkatesh starrer. And the good news for southern fans is that our own Asin will once again play the female lead in the Hindi version.

John Abraham has already started building his muscles to match the demands of the encounter specialist character. For Asin, school teacher role will be a cake walk as she has already done it in the Telugu version.

Vijay is playing Asin’s Kavalkaran (Bodyguard) in Siddique directed remake of the Malayalam hit Bodyguard.

The shoot of the film has started from Monday in Kumbakonam.

Once again Vijay has preferred to take an old super hit MGR- Jayalalitha film Kavalkaran (1967), as the title for his new film. After Vettaikkaran Vijay is using an MGR title again, as he believes that it has tremendous recall value among the masses.

All of you, who wondered where John Abraham had disappeared, will be in for some real good news. The hot Dostana hunk, who has a body to die for, is getting an even shapelier body for himself. If you’re drooling already, then, we feel that it’s time for some clarity. This Greek God of Bollywood is all set to do a film to be produced by Vipul Shah.

The film is an adaptation of a Tamil film called Kaakha Kaakha in Hindi. While the original (Tamil) film had the south superstar Surya alongside Jyothika, it will be Asin who will be doing the honours in the Hindi remake. This film will be directed by Mumbai Meri Jaan director Nishikant Kamat.

South Indian beauty Asin is likely to step in Katrina Kaif’s shoes in Anurag Basu’s new Bollywood flick Khamoshi, starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.

Katrina Kaif had walked out of the project recently as the director had signed on Priyanka Chopra as well. Asin has reportedly agreed to act in this film which will begin by August.
