Overnight success of Asin with Ghajini has been keeping actress Asin completely busy with Bollywood now. The actress has already signed few Hindi projects that will take off shortly and is now shooting for Vijay’s Kavalkaran as well. Obviously, this film marks the comeback of Asin in Kollywood after 2 long years followed by Dasavatharam.

The actress was here in Chennai on May 10th to address media channels on endorsing Fairever Cream. The event was organized at Chola Sheraton that had brand’s officials accompanying her on interacting about their new packaged brand.

Long legged beauty Lakshmi Rai, has mesmerized the audiences with her super cow boy role in the movie Super Cowboy. Lakshmi has impressed the audience with her long legs, seducing eyes and great figure.
Before this movie, Lakshmi Rai was in news mostly for her closeness with Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Both spent quality time in Chennai and in South Africa when IPL 2 was conducted a year ago. Even she celebrated her birthday in presence of Dhoni. ut nowadays both are maintaining a distance and reasons unknown.
The latest news is that Asin is now enjoying the company of Dhoni. We heard that Dhoni even visited Asin’s house and watched entire IPL match. Reacting to the news, Lakshmi Rai said “Dhoni is a friendly person and may have watched the IPL match in Asin’s house, along with her family”. She also adds “there is something wrong if they are alone and just watched IPL match and not more than that”.
What is she trying to say here? Did Lakshmi and Dhoni in idulge in something something when they are alone ?

Asin has revealed a secret – that director Siddique actually penned the heroine role in Bodyguard keeping her in mind.

“The offer went to Nayantara only after I said no to Siddique due to a lack of dates,” said Asin.

“However, I promised Siddique, at that time, that I would do the role when he remade the film in Tamil.”

She added: “I am currently working as the heroine for the movie Kaavalkaran, my third movie with Vijay after Sivakasi and Pokkiri.”

Asin has bagged two prestigious offers in Bollywood, we hear. And both of these are remakes. It is important to note that the actress entered into Bollywood with the Ghajini remake.

The Malabar beauty will be paired opposite John Abraham for the remake of Kaakka Kaakka. Yet another piece of info flowing in is that Asin is also under consideration for the Hindi remake of the Telugu smash hit Kick. This movie is to be directed by Aneez Bazmi and will have Salman Khan in the lead.

The latest Bollywood buzz is that Asin-Dhoni is seeing each other. They both were seen spending private moments together.

Recently Dhoni was seen in Asin’s apartment. They both wanted to catch up for the first semi-final of IPL played between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The media is thinking whether these two are actually dating each other or not. They were recently seen together when they were chosen as brand ambassadors of Big Bazaar.

They both liked each other’s company so much that ever since they have been constantly in touch.

Asin was in Karaikudi shooting for her forthcoming film Kaavalkaaran. Now it so happened, that she was required to wear some flowers in her hair for a scene. From all the flowers that were available, Asin chose the ones that are said to attract snakes.

The choreographer of course warned her about the flowers but Asin laughed it off saying that people shouldn’t succumb to such phobias. Now she had to walk amidst knee length grass in the dark. With the flowers in her hair, everyone on the sets was worried about her safety but not Asin.

Last week, Asin was in Chennai for the first schedule of her new film Kavalkaran with Vijay.

The film, directed by Siddique, is a remake of his Malayalam film Bodyguard. Asin is doing a Kollywood film, nearly two years after her last release Dasavatharam.

The grapevine had it that the actress would not do south Indian films after the stupendous success of her debut Hindi film Ghajini with Aamir Khan. However, her critics were quick to point out that the failure of her second film in Bollywood London Dreams with Salman Khan may have forced the actress to make a comeback to Tamil cinema.

Asin and Salman who recently shared the screen in the movie, London Dreams, is all set to show their on-screen chemistry once again. Asin, who is a south Indian sensation made her debut in the Aamir Khan hit Ghajini, back in 2008. Since then, she has become one of the most favorite heroines in the B town as well.

Reportedly, the role for this new movie was initially offered to Deepika Padukone, but was later bagged by Asin. The movie will be directed by Anees Bazmee and the production team would be headed by Bhushan Kumar. The movie will be remake of a south Indian hit movie which starred Ram and Genelia. This movie has the highest gross collection in 2008.

The Kaavalkaran team is back in town, Mahabalipuram to be precise. The team had been traveling to Karaikudi and Kumbakonam regions where first schedule of the film were shot.

The schedule in Mahabalipuram began recently, where portions involving Vijay will be filmed. We also hear and a good number of comedy scenes involving Vadivelu and the Ilaya Thalapathy will also be canned here.

So, what happened to Asin? Sources close to the unit report that scenes involving the lady will not be shot in Mahabalipuram and hence her presence is not required.
