Asin has been in news recently for having miffed south film industry. These days she is heard of attending eye camps in war affected areas that was once under LTTE in Sri Lanka.
Nadigar Sangam’s secretary Radha Ravi said in an interview given to a Tamil paper that the TFPC elections are over so the industry will now sort out the Asin’s issue. All the industry associations like FEFSI, TFPC, Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners and Distributors associations would come together this week to discuss the course of action against the actress.
For sure the meeting will begin with the question that why did the actress go in a Sri Lanka army helicopter with the first lady of the country and that too when Salman Khan and other unit members of the film Ready had gone back to Mumbai?
Asin has maintained until now that she has gone there for work but now she wants to do something for then but the sources say that Asin wouldn’t have dared to be speak so brazenly with the Rajapaksa government without the support of the Congress led UPA government in New Delhi.
Sources also say that an ace politician from Kerala who is close to Sonia Gandhi has worked it all behind the scenes for Asin’s trip to Tamil areas in Sri Lanka.
The Delhi based columnist R Rajagopalan had once opined that the UPA government does not want the Tamil in Sri Lanka issue to be come up again in Tamil Nadu as they are in good terms with Rajapaksa government.
