Actress Asin is damn care about the warning issued by South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce who instructed actors not to go to Sri Lanka to IIFA. But not sure whether it also holds true for going for a shooting. Asin is now flying down to Sri Lanka to shoot the Hindi film ‘Ready’, which is a remake of yesteryear Telugu blockbuster ‘Ready’.
In an interview, Asin has said that the film has been only medium that has been breaking the barriers of borders, languages, castes and religions. We don’t see who the person sitting next to us is or the caste he or she belongs to. It doesn’t make sense about stopping us from traveling to Sri Lanka and getting the film done.
Asin said, “I respect the feelings of my fans and have not attended the awards function. However, I cannot take any decision regarding the shooting of Ready as it has been decided by the producer. I have signed a contract to shoot for them and I have to abide by that. I have already shown my concern and hope that they think about it.”
The film was supposed to be shot at Mauritius and later shifted to Sri Lankan on the request of Salman Khan who earlier ignored the warning of SIFCC.
