It looks like Asin is completely unaware of all the problems going on between South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce and Sri Lankan Government. The former has declared that any actor who associates himself/herself with Sri Lanka or Colombo would be banned from being viewed over the theaters of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka.

On the other hand, Asin is leaving for Sri Lanka on 20th June, for the shoot of her film Ready, which is a remake of a super hit Telegu movie with the same name. Asin would be cast against Salman Khan, and the film would be directed by Anees Bazmee.

After Salman’s hearty support of the Sri Lankan people during the IIFA awards, the government there was so impressed they allowed him to use Sri Lanka as the background to the film. The news of Asin?s leave has been making waves in South Indian film industry, and Ilayathalapathy Vijay is especially worried because his next film is with her, and if the film gets banned, he would have quite a tough time. A few days ago, Genelia was ‘advised’ not to attend the IIFA because of the same reason.
